About me

Introduction I am a twenty-something who stumbled upon a bit of passion during an eighteen day trip to East Africa with Living Water International in the summer of 2007. In Kenya, Rwanda and Uganda I came to know many people who have very simply fallen on impossible circumstances. I saw children there drinking water I wouldn't feed to an animal. I photographed little girls waiting along the roadside for their turn at the pump when they should have been in school. I held a tiny baby named Mercy who could not hold up her head due to heat exhaustion and dehydration. It really bothered me then, and it still does. My ambition is very simple - to do whatever I can to get the resources we have to meet the desperate need that they have. It's not a hard equation. Dollars mean water, and as I learned in Africa - WATER IS LIFE.
