| Favorite books | There are a lot as well...book that have a realistic story-line or are even written about actual events..books about different cultures, women living in Afghanistan/Iraq/Middle East/Africa..inspirational stories..like "Lotti", a woman, running a little hospital in Africa, taking care of HIV patients...books about people that leave everything that they know and are used to, to help others and live their life a not so common way "aber mein Herz bleibt in Afrika", Claudia Tabbert. A book, I read a few years back in highschool, for my english major, "Last Chance To See" by Douglas Adams..really funnily written and makes you think about our planet and the animals living on it! |
