Introduction	This blog is about my first year as an Emergency Department RN. I worked Med-Surg my first year as a nurse which is supposedly "the way you should do it". I aim to make this blog a positive reflection of nursing to do good and less of a complaint forum. One of my goals in life is to do everything I can in nursing. Emergency, Trauma, Trauma ICU, travel nursing, volunteer nursing in underserved countries, volunteer nursing for underserved populations in the US, disaster relief, DMAT, IMSURT, and then start grad school. I just don't know which track to take. but I'll get there. after lots of soul searching. I could use your help! ! Feel free to read my blog, subscribe, or send me words of encouragement. About me: I am RN, BSN!!! Thanks to Dr. F, my great professor, I am a DAMN GOOD NURSE :) I love my new position in the ER, and I love helping those in need. Not every day is a walk in the park but I try to be grateful and give back to my community.
