Introduction	I am a former senior lecturer in graphic design at Huddersfield University in the UK. I am conducting research into 'collecting' and am interested to see if creating a personal digital archive of items has any worth. Is a blog the way to do this? I'm particularly thinking of people who have to let items go, maybe if they are downsizing, maybe the elderly who can no longer stay in their own homes. This is my own collection of items from the back of the drawer, in creating this I hope to generate some insights into methods and potential benefits.
