Introduction	I have been the school librarian at an elementary school in East Harlem for the past four years (this is also the same amount of time I've spent in the D.O.E. in total). I was a teaching fellow, but just happened to be lucky enough to be hired as the librarian in my school, so I've never actually been a classroom teacher. I love being the librarian. I find it to be a very interesting, thought provoking, social and ever-challenging position. I can't believe that this is my fourth year doing this, I had never planned to stay this long. I used to freelance in the film industry...that was my 1st career and what my undergrad degree was in, but left that business in search a more effective way to create positive change in the world. My true passion lies in making music. I sing and produce my own tracks in my home studio. I have no idea what lies ahead, but have many goals, plans and ideas and hope that the universe will provide the opportunities for me to experience them all. Overall, I love to learn new things, be challenged, grow, change and stretch myself as a human being and hope that in whatever endeavors I take on I will continue on in this vain.
