| Introduction | I was ordained to ministry in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) on April 1, 2001 in Sweetwater, TX. Prior to that I ministered along side my husband for 38 years, extended hospitality to both strangers and friends, assisted in rearing our 3 offspring, and began journaling back in the '60s while living in Europe (Switzerland & Germany). Those experiences prepared me for ministry as much as my years in seminary (1989-1995). And most important of all, I have walked with the Lord since 1959. |

| Favorite movies | "On the Beach" left a lasting impression on me when I saw it as a teenager. More current: Lord of the Rings |
| Favorite music | Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, and most "oldies" from the '50s. I also like to hear my Daddy play the fiddle. (He's 91 years old.) |
| Favorite books | The Bible--really, Nancy Drew Mysteries, Beyond Sex Roles by Gilbert Bilezikian. |
