| Introduction | My grandmother taught me to crochet a few simple stitches when I was ten years old. I spent many hours at her side, learning a craft that she loved, while we had numerous conversations about life in general. We solved all the world's problems stitch by stitch - well, all the problems of a ten-year-old girl, that is. Most of my crochet items are made with the crochet hook she gave me 46 years ago. When I crochet using that hook, I feel like she is still with me, heart and hook. |
