Introduction	The International Women’s Sailing Cup idea has been created by Meltem ÖZER whom is the president of TBYC -Turgutreis Bodrum Yacht Club. The idea came up her mind in “the world women’s day” in 2005 that she has thought to organise a special event for the memory of this day. International Women’s Sailing Cup It was in 2005 on a very important day – 8th of March – International Women’s Day – that the idea was introduced for the first time by TBYC, and The international Women’s Sailing Cup a first in its category, came to life with the main sponsorship of Turgutreis Municipality, our sister club supports and many other friends help. We are waiting the other countries women team to participate this unique regatta of their own. . .
