Introduction Carlos Batara, a Harvard Law School graduate, has helped immigrants become permanent residents and citizens of the United States for more than 16 years. His clients represent more than 60 different countries.

Carlos has been passionate about immigration and multiculturalism since he was young. His mother, born in New Mexico, brought a heritage of Mexican and Spanish roots to his upbringing. His father was an immigrant from the Philippines.

In addition to his legal training, Carlos studied international relations at the University of Southern California and took part in Harvard's joint program with the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy.
