| Introduction | Welcome! I am Dr. Gary Robert Carpenter and I write this wellness blog to promote health to undeserved and under-informed populations in a culturally sensitive, age-appropriate manner. Preventative medicine and nutrition have emerged as important topics in the last decade. After receiving my medical degree in from SUNY Downstate in 2009, I came to the realization that health information is not appropriately disseminated to young people (18-35). I am tackling this issue by imparting persons in that age group with Health information free of jargon and political rhetoric. I intend to help the people I truly have a heart for.
