Born in New York City, moving to San Francisco, and then living in Asia, he has studied with some of the greatest Masters of this century and is dedicated to spreading their teachings and to promote the “Path of Spiritual Boxing” and recovery.Teaching Shao-Lin, Tai Chi, Chi-Gung, and meditation while working with men, women, senior citizens and especially youth, he has been sharing the importance of the relationship between Spirit, Mind, and Body and how through simple daily practice we can maintain our health, increase our happiness; therefore, improving the quality of our lives.Practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine (acu-pressure, herbal remedies, and Chi healing) he also does emotional cleansing, private treatments, coaching, and classes.He is passionate about service and bringing the medicine of practice to the community, as well as, institutions and facilities of incarceration.As a practitioner of Taoist arts, a Chan Buddhist of the Wei Yang lineage and a disciple of Shao-Lin martial arts, Sifu Bergman is dedicated to the relief of suffering for all beings. |
