| Introduction | I live in 'book country', the beautiful Pacific Northwest. I have been in the bookselling biz for over 30 years, and share my life with my husband, two stepsons (my daughter passed away in 2014, but she's keeping an eye on us!), four naughty cats (a.k.a. The Evil Plan Bureau), and stacks and stacks and stacks of books. I love to read anywhere, but mostly in the bath tub...with the door shut against constant feline intrusions. |

| Favorite movies | My list of favorite movies is much too long, although I'm partial to silent films, thought-provoking films, and general film silliness. When my spirits are low, 'Raising Arizona' always makes me feel better. |
| Favorite music | I love all music, except for country and some rap. |
| Favorite books | Silly question. Any story that gives me pause to reflect, laugh, and/or cry gets my full attention. I try to stay away from animal stories because the animal usually dies and I end up crying in my beer. |
