| Introduction | I'm a 4-6 art teacher in Belchertown, MA. Getting to this point was a bit interesting. I started off studying photography at the School of Visual Arts in New York City and during that time realized that I needed to come home. After that, I got my associate's degree in photography from Holyoke Community College. After graduating, I hoped I made the right choice to study art education at UMASS Amherst. Once I started my observations, I knew for a fact that I couldn't picture myself doing anything else, but teaching art. I'm now in my 10th year teaching. When I'm not teaching, I create functional ceramic pieces in my studio and take pictures whenever I can. I collect cameras. I'm married to an amazing guy (Josh) who is creative in his own right. He's a wood worker. We have 1 daughter (Inara) and 8 fur kids, 1 dog (Hannah), 4 cats (Cocoa, Chiana, Cookie, and Chip), 2 bunnies (Peanut and Moose), and 1 rat (Dende). We also have 3 fish tanks and a goldfish pond in the backyard. Needless to say, we LOVE animals of all kinds. Josh and I also love to go camping with Inara and Hannah. |
