About me

Location Washington County, Texas
Introduction I learned to sew when I was 8 years old. The first thing I made was an apron and I still have the book with instructions! I started making things for my own room at home when I was younger and by the time I went to college I was covering cheap furniture for an apartment. I graduated from Texas A&M with a degree in Marketing and ended up working in retail. I was a makeup artist for a long time, which I loved, but was ready to do something different. I wanted to be able to have a job that allowed me to stay home with my children, so I started sewing slipcovers and pillows, curtains and bedding. My work has been featured in Country Home, Southern Accents, and Texas Live magazine. After living in Houston for most of my life, my husband and I decided it was time for a change. We moved to the country to live the "simple life". I continue to sew and I love doing it as a creative outlet. My ability to refresh and rework furniture or entire spaces, satisfies me greatly.
