| Introduction | I am currently speed reading the Gospel of Mark, over and over, and I heard about blogging so I thought I'd share some of my thoughts. I hope you will consider them in the spirit they are posted and perhaps share your own from Mark or another part of the Bible. I am the second of six children, the oldest girl. I was my mother's helper for many years and I like to write long poems for each sibling's birthday. Later on, I became interested in God and began writing songs based on things I read and heard. I am still doing that today but now I also collect those songs together into programs to present to various groups. Sometimes my daughter or my husband join me. I've been married since 1983 and my son and daughter are now grown. My husband continues to work as a pastor but also writes books which I help edit and type. I have been "blogging" for years, on paper - writing down my thoughts and when I read about how to blog, I thought it might be fun to share my thoughts with others and hear what they have to say. |
