Introduction	My name is Kim Jones and I am a disabled dressage rider. I was an alternate for the United States Para Equestrian Team for the Alltech 2010 World Equestrian Games and was long listed for the 2012 Paralympic Team in London. My goals are to compete and medal for the US as a Para rider at World and Olympic events. My ultimate goal is to ride at a world event (such as Pan Am Games) for my country with the able bodied dressage riders. It is my hope, that by training and riding my horses using Walter Zettl and Eddo Hoekstra's methods, I can show the world that if a disabled rider can ride at the upper levels without forcing or without harming these majestic animals and be successful at doing so, there is no excuse for anyone else able bodied or otherwise to harm or force these beautiful creatures, who will do anything to please you if they only trust AND know what you are asking. This blog is about my continuing efforts to make and compete for the US in international, World and Olympic competitions.
