Introduction	As an artist and naturalist, my work celebrates the subtle seasonal changes, the ebb and flow of coastal tides and the diffused light of the southern highlands -- all things natural. I paint in watercolor, oil and mixed media, clearly tending toward realism but with occasional flights into abstraction. I'm also a print maker and book maker. As a result of my training and career as a designer and illustrator, primary to my work is a commitment to craftsmanship and the enduring principles of design and composition. I remain mindful that form and content need to be as one.
