| Introduction | I decided that I wanted to do something everyday to help charitable organizations because I was struck by how much wealth we have in the global north in comparison to many others, even personally as an underemployed recent college graduate. I plan to donate multiple times a week to organizations whose work I feel passionately about. I hope you will join me in my effort. Together we could have a huge impact... The details of who I am, is not important. Suffice it to say, I am someone who is passionate about changing the world for all. I try to remember to focus on marginalized groups in this blog, because I feel that mainstream issues are covered extensively in other places. I want to learn more about the world and groups doing work globally. As an American, I feel that I am undereducated about many issues globally and through blogging hope to educate myself about it while supporting those on the ground making the world a better place. :-) But who I am is insignificant compared to the important issues we need to focus on fixing... |
