IntroductionTruth is a pathless land, said J. Krishnamurti, as he dissolved the organization that fed, clothed, educated and preened hin to be the World Messiah. Maybe he was, as he refused to take on the role of the "Guru," but went around the world talking about real enlightenment and inner freedom for the rest of his life. I have to agree. Truth is a pathless land. I am not tethered to any religious or philosophical path, but I like many of them-- as long as they are not controlling one's life... I'm a Quaker, with a fondness for Taoism, Mahayana Buddhism (especially Zen and Tibetan Buddhism) and bits of many other philosophies. William Blake, Quarry Hill's favorite poet and engraver, said "Art is the tree of life." I think so too-- art and love for and protection of children and animals.
