| Introduction | I am moderately deaf in both ears. I was born that way but undiagnosed until I was 6 1/2 years old. I have no ear canals and ear drums. I wear 2 behind the ear bone conduction hearing aids. I know how to lipread and was raised in the hearing world by hearing parents. I didn't go to deaf school until high school. I did go to college with the help of assistive devices. |
