| Introduction | This blog was originally created when we found out we were expecting our first child to give our families an opportunity to keep track of us. 11 weeks into my pregnancy we gave our little Elijah is into the sweet hands of Jesus. It was tragic and heartbreaking, but we soon found exactly how GOOD and FAITHFUL Jesus is. He is giving us an beauty for our ashes... Now I am posting all of the new things we are learning about Jesus through this. What I always want others to understand is that, yes- we love Jesus and claim to be Christian. What we don't claim is perfection. Sound cliche'? If you know me, you know I have a temper, can be a flake and mean among other faults you may have seen. I have learned though, that the church ( people, not the building) can be hurtful and more mean spirited than people who don't believe. Don't let this sway you from seeking who Jesus truly is through his scripture. What you will find is perfection and love so deep it cannot be matched by any human. |
