| Introduction | I retired from teaching in the summer of 2010 and now I have set up my own business making bridal gowns and special occasion wear. I will sew or make anything from fabrics. When I am not sewing fabrics I sow seeds and work on the allotment and in the garden. I love to grow plants and most of all like to grow all kinds of vegetables to eat. My animals take up a good deal of my time too, we have chickens, canaries,and rabbits. If there is time at the end of the day I like to read adventure stories and crime novels but more recently I have been reading fashion and textile books to get inspiration for my sewing and to learn new techniques. |
