| Introduction | Doc I majored in Biochemistry at Rice University. I graduated from Harvard Medical School in 1983, then specialized in Internal Medicine at Central Texas Medical Foundation. I worked for the Food and Drug Administration in Rockville, MD for three years while obtaining a Masters in Public Health. Then I worked for the University of Texas Medical School Houston for 10 years and now I am in private practice in Houston Texas. I perform clinical trials in diabetes and cholesterol treatment. I am active in community outreach programs for diabetes screening. I have been married for 22 years and have 4 children. I am writing this blog to improve my own knowledge about healthcare reform, diabetes, wellness. Also, I would like to improve the communication between me and my patients, and collaborators. |
