Introduction	hi, friends. I'm a cool guy... i want to go heaven... I look only to the good qualities of people. Not being faultless myself, I won't presume to probe into the faults of others. I am never going to have anything more to do with politics or politicians. When this war is over I shall confine myself entirely to writing and painting. For my part, I consider that it will be found much better by all parties to leave the past to history, especially as I propose to write that history myself. Winston Churchill I just don't want to live like I used to. And at some point, I'm going to put a gag order on myself in terms of talking about the past. I've got to slam the door and deal with the present and the future. Every man is said to have his peculiar ambition. Whether it be true or not, I can say for one that I have no other so great as that of being truly esteemed of my fellow men, by rendering myself worthy of their esteem.
