| Introduction | Claudia was born in Peru to bookish German parents. Literature lets us slip surreptitiously into the lives of others, lives from which we can learn how to be courageous, thoughtful, empathic, passionate, responsible, heroic, dignified. Literature can teach us how to shape a good life, and how to endure and survive the hardships that await us. |
