Introduction I am at that stage in life when the twenty year old in my head is coming to terms with the 44 year old superstructure which surrounds it. This has led to a substantial amount of existential musing and a disbelief in changes, such as the fact that classical music is now a preferred listening option to rock, or that alcohol is no longer a part of my life, and that many good ideas will sadly only remain ideas..On the other hand life is extremely rich and varied and wonderful, so even if the journey through this beautiful garden is slowing from a gallop to a brisk walk, well what the hell? More time to notice the flowers, and appreciate this weird unasked for gift that is life.
