| Introduction | Monologues in the Wilderness is my English language site. If you come across me in the desert you may hear my monologues, share some news and, maybe, talk about life in the wilderness. Living in the wilderness, I get to talking to myself out loud. As we all do, I have in me something of the prophet, the poet and the madman. And, as such, I take seriously that in Christ's Church we are called to be kings, prophets and priests. We have a world in which to go about building God's Kingdom, for which we have to know it, understand it and proclaim it. Having met with the Christ in this wilderness, having been touched by him, having died and risen with him we have no other option but to respond to his love with a holocaust of whatever love our small capacity may bear. |
