| Introduction | I have been teaching for 19 years beginning in Texas and now in Southern California. I worked in a border community and have experience teaching LEP, Sped, GT, bilingual, autistic, and BIC students. I have taught PAP and AP courses as well as trailer courses for students who have repeated science classes multiple times. Teaching Style:I like to teach my students using a lot of art and visuals. We create colorful foldables together and research questions that come up daily. I like for my students to be very creative in class. I also show real life examples. Its is important that students understand how science concepts they learn in school can be applied to their everyday life and occupations. I think it is important for students to not only learn the content but to know a little bit about the scientists and time that went into the discovery and establishment of the scientific ideas.
