My blogs
| Introduction | i am drawn to history because i want to understand how the world (particularly the u.s., where i have lived my whole life) came to be what it is now. looking at intense racism, nativism, classism, sexism, heterosexism, ableism, transphobia, homophobia, fat phobia, and other yucky things around me (and sometimes within me,) i am interested in studying systems and moments of political inclusion and exclusion. i am a queer white american cis-female and i want to learn how these parts of my identity have gained social and cultural meaning, and in some cases value, that have shaped my life. follow my blog and you can learn along with me! |
