About me

Introduction	Hi! I have been teaching at Dyer and Kaler schools only since the fall of 2012, but I have been teaching in South Portland since 1999! In that time I have taught in every one to the schools in the South Portland School system, K-12. I earned a B.S. in Music Education from USM in 1987, and a M.M. in Choral Directing from UMaine in 2006. I have also completed three levels of Kodaly Certification, and the first Level of Orff Certification. I love to sing, and also play guitar, piano and recorder. I am the director of the Gorham Community Chorus, a choir made up of about 75 singers from Gorham and the surrounding communities. My wife Allie is an Art Teacher in the Gorham Schools, and we have three adult children, Peter, Miriam and Jonas.
