| Introduction | Since retiring in 2016 after 45 years teaching at Bedford School, I have had more time to walk our two dogs, and in 2017 completed the 'Shine Walk' for Cancer Research - a marathon 26+ mile distance overnight. Last year I walked the Ouse Valley Way - 153 miles in 9 days. Quite a feat, though I say it myself, but I did raise nearly £1,500 for Young Minds UK who help young people with mental health problems. |
