| Introduction | I am an Alaska grown cowgirl with a gypsy soul. The first time I met a Curly horse I knew in my heart that would be the only horse I would ever own and I bought my first Curly in 1998. I moved away from Alaska in 1999 to work on Donna Vickery's (was Blackmore)Curly horse ranch in Montana and then traveled to Wyoming to get my degree in Equine Science. After working on a guest ranch as a wrangler in Jackson Hole, WY inbetween college years I decided to continue doing that during the summers and then worked full time fall, winter and spring as the reproduction technician/vet technician at a stallion station/veterinary hospital in N. Cali. I did that job combo for about 8 years until I met my husband and now we live in San Diego county with my one Curly mare, Dusty Pearl who I am currently training. |
