| Introduction | I live in Owen Sound Ontario Canada. My Partner Leslie and I have live here since 1979 and in our present home since about 1983. I like it here for the most part. The winters kill me. I wish I could hibernate. Summer is nice tho' lots of sun and warm temperatures. I've thought about living somewhere else but at this point in my life, Toronto or any place south of there is too violent and fast moving. Vancouver sounds nice but theres lots of rain and it costs a fortune to live there. Onre of my daughters lives there and that is a draw. We are sort of on hold right now while our other daughter finds her way. She's now an adult and still at home. When she leaves, I suspect we will have to reconsider what we are doing with our lives. My Partner works much too hard. I haven't really had what you would call a career for 5 years although I have been getting more work as a councillor and I hope to start a University (distance) course next month. Stay tuned. I feel a change in the wind . . . |
