| Introduction | I'm born and bred in the south of Sweden but lived in London since 1996. I chose to come here for an adventure at the young age of 20, and am still here 18 years later! Until recently, I was working as the executive PA to the chairman of a Middle Eastern oil shipping company, but after five years I have now resigned to become a full time mum. I had my first child (a boy who we named Sean Alexander) on 27th November 2008 with my husband Alan, (AKA 'Bear'), whom I live with in central London. This is a a very exciting time for us, full of anticipation and wonder, and I'll be writing about my everyday life, incidents and accidents, the ups and downs of being a new Mum, shopping and life and views in general by a Swedish gal in London. So welcome to my blog which I started mainly due to my pregnancy and to allow my family on other side of the North Sea, to share my experiences - despite the distance between us.
