| Introduction | This has been a year of many changes for me. I left my job designing in the fashion industry to start a new career in the costume design world (right before my 30th birthday no less). I needed a change of pace and an outlet to be more creative. Designing is great, but it is competitive by nature and a struggle to get to the higher positions where you get to actually design. Costume Design and Wardrobe Styling has always been a dream for me, and with a lot of patience and reaching out to anyone who could help, I landed my first costume design job! I hope this blog will be a way for me to share in the joys, challenges, and exciting things happening on set and behind the scenes for a wardrobe costumer. |
