| Introduction | I am a mother to 2 wonderful children and the wife to a very supportive, kind, loving man. My life is very blessed to have all of them in it. I am a DONA trained Birth Doula and have worked in thhe Sacramento Area since 2007. I originally started in the Bay Area (San Jose) before transferring to this area. This is always an exciting opportunity to be a support to the birthing mother and her family. I truly count it an honor to be present at every birth. It still amazes me in the little amount of time (months and sometimes weeks) I may spend with a mom or couple, that by the end I really feel like I have known them for years. It is a natural high for me to leave a birth knowing the parents are thrilled, cared for and resting with a precious bundle of joy in their arms. |
