Introduction	It always surprises me when someone will see me knitting and say, "I just don't have the patience to do something like that." Hello?! We're sitting on an airplane, have been taxi-ing for 45 minutes, who knows how much longer we'll be taxi-ing? And then there are the long hours actually IN THE AIR! I don't understand how you have the patience to NOT knit! Knitting has helped me be a much calmer person. I've definitely found my Zen. For example, have you heard this one? "I'll just be 10 minutes, honey." Used to drive me crazy. Now I'm like, "Take all the time you need, dear." And the amazing thing is I mean it. I very, very sincerely mean it.
