| Introduction | Rabbi Dr. Moshe Newman is a chiropractor practicing Network Spinal Analysis(aka Network Chirorpactic) for over 25 years. Also known as the Kotel Cantor, Dr. Newman led a Carlebachian Shabbat prayer service at the Western Wall for 8 years. Dr. Newman developed SHeM1 Inner Awareness Training™ as a tool for integrating the Soul/Heart/Mind experience, especially to empower deeper, more heartfelt, joyful prayer. It is based upon cutting-edge mind/body medicine, kabbalistic and Chassidic (particularly Breslov) thought. He receives clients in Jerusalem and RBS, teaches privately or within the framework of large group experiential seminars and Carlebachian-style Shabbatonim. He can be reached via email at shem_one@hotmail.com or in Jerusalem at 0545-770-156. |
| Interests | I am a chiropractic hassid of Rebbe Nachman of Breslov and Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach. I received my Bachelor's degree in Music (Opera Performance) from U of Iowa, fulfilled Bachelor of Science studies at Nassau Community College and received my Doctorate in Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College. Torah studies over the past 22 years include rabbinical studies with Rabbi Yochanan Bechoffer and Rabbi Yakov Yitzchak Abraham as well as kabbalistic meditative studies with Rabbi Avraham Sutton and Rabbi Perets Auerbach. I was blessed to have been the Kotel Cantor, leading a Carlebach minyan at the Western Wall from 1996-2004. A divorced father of five children and coming off a Sabbatical year in Tsfat, living and learning with a very special chevre of Breslover Chassidim (until the Lebanon war), I am presently learning Torah in a kollel just opposite the Temple Mount, overlooking the holy Western Wall, practicing meditation and giving gifts of healing facilitation through Network Spinal entrainments and SHeM (Soul/Heart/Mind) Inner Awareness Training in the the Old City of Jerusalem as well as Jerusalem's Ramat Eshkol neighborhood. |
