Introduction At 6, Missy announced that she was “going to marry a dark-haired artist.” She was grosely disappointed to discover that Rodney Barber couldn’t draw a stick figure to save his life. She went on to paint pictures, write poems, and perform one-woman shows in the backyard. Meanwhile, a little boy asked his parents for a giant blow-up bunny. They said yes and he set out on a creative quest cutting the bunny apart until his brother told his parents. Shocked at Shawn’s lack of respect for his toy, they threw it away and scolded him not realizing that all Shawn wanted the bunny for was the cool costume he could make. Shawn continued draw pictures, make up stories and melt down plastic toys to make wonderful creations. In high school, the two met and became the best of friends. Missy let Shawn stick tubes up her nose and pour plaster of paris on her head and soon, the two fell in love. In time they got married and thought six kids sounded like a wonderful idea and began making babies and magic and art and happiness. They are now a family of creative souls trying to make the world a better place ONE CREATION AT A TIME!
