Introduction | I am a pastor in the Presbyterian Church (USA). Currently, I spend half my time serving with a medium-sized suburban congregation in San Carlos and half my time working on a number of missional experiments in neighboring Redwood City; prior to arriving in Northern California, I was the solo pastor of a smaller church in Southeastern Oklahoma (two very different cultural contexts). I was an English major at the University of Colorado, have a Master of Divinity degree from Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary, and have a Doctor of Ministry degree (focused on missional leadership) from Fuller Theological Seminary. I am married and have two children. Members of my faith community ask challenging questions (which I appreciate); but the toughest questions come from my children. |
