Introduction	Welcome to my blog! I have been teaching first grade since 2001. I have over 25 years of teaching experience if you combined all of my years from preschool through college that I have taught.Many years ago I began using the Daily 5 and am a firm believer in the "the Sisters " method of literacy instruction. We have also incorporated the new Common Core Standards in Math and Literacy.
