| Introduction | Those who know me well know that autism has become a significant interest of mine over the last few years. Having had the opportunity to meet many kids with autism and their families in North America, I've become very passionate about this issue. From September to December 2009, I volunteered at Stars & Rain, an autism center in Beijing, to explore how the condition is viewed and treated in Asia. I have used this blog to journal my experiences confronting autism in China and I will continue to write about my thoughts and observations on autism in general. Thank you for visiting!
