| Introduction | I have a PhD in evolutionary biology, and my research focuses on the evolution and the embryonic development of the chondrichthyan skeletal system. Besides my academic activities, I’ve been strongly interested in the collection, preparation and care of natural history specimens for years, and have worked on various anatomical preparations for almost a decade. My work was showcased on the bestiarumosteology.com website from 2011 to 2015, which is now closed down as a new one is in the work. I decided to keep a blog on the side of the website to show some work in progress, as well as some cool critters. |
