| Introduction | I am a transplant to Cookeville, TN from the Memphis metropolitan area. I grew up in Memphis and am proud to say I spent most of my life there. Cookeville is in the Upper Cumberland Plateau area of Middle Tennessee in the Appalachian Mountains. The scenery is superb: mountains all around, lush green foliage, and more flowers growing wild than I could ever put a name too. The people are simple and sweet. Life is good here and I am trying to put down semi-roots. I am employed as an RN at a small community hospital and I hope very much to become a midwife and nurse practitioner in the future. |
