| Introduction | We'll all regret losing the evidence of our musical heritage if goes. Too many old gig sites, clubs, recording studios, artists homes, picture locations for album and video shoots, inspirational places have been pulled down, built over or simply their past forgotten. London, the greatest rock'n'roll city, bar none, boasts just two 'official' plaques to dead rock stars. In 2010 the unimaginable nearly happened; Abbey Road was in danger of being sold for redevelopment! The barbarians are at the gate! Rock'n'roll should be here to stay! This blog celebates that history. |
