Introduction	Jenny and I live on an 1978 Ericson 35 Mark II sloop in Boston harbor. We live aboard with our dog Willie and our so-called cat Gollum. We moved to Boston from Michigan just after Christmas 2006 and moved aboard a powerboat named the Fitzcarraldo that May. Exactly one year later we had decided we liked the ocean life enough to buy a sailboat with hopes of someday sailing away and cruising for a couple years. This blog is a running log of our adventures and mishaps as we work toward that goal, and eventually we hope this blog will also log those very cruising adventures.
