| Introduction | I worked for the DoD for 20 years on active duty, as a Federal contractor, and as a GS-343-15 (Director with fancy titles). I write this blog as one who believes in the men and women who serve the DoD - no matter what uniform color, rank, or job description. I know the DoD as home to some of the most resourceful and committed people in the world. I have been influenced by thought leaders like David Walker, the former Comptroller General of the US and former Head of the Government Accountability Office (GAO), data published by the Congressional Budget Office (CBO), a number of great minds and ideas I will write about in my Blog, and my own personal experiences as a DoD employee and a small business owner. The opinions and commentary I post on this blog are not official representations of the US government, the now defunct Business Transformation Agency, the Military Health System or any other government organization. They are simply my own viewpoints on issues I have had direct experience with. |
