| Introduction | I'm thrilled to be your fourth grade teacher this year. I thought you might like to know a little bit about me. When I was in the fourth grade I lived in Denver, Colorado. The girls in my class loved to play kickball, and that's why I often teach my class how to play. Most of the girls I knew walked to school every day, and we thought that was a lot of fun. I loved reading, acting in plays, and ice skating! When I was in the eighth grade, we moved to the coast of Oregon. The beach was a little bit different from what you know. We had bonfires and roasted marshmallows, and the ocean was so cold you needed a wet suit, but wait...guess what comes next? When I was in college my family moved back to Florida. The gulf coast has warm water, so no more bonfires or marshmallows for me...just swimming and jumping waves! I love teaching, and I think the beginning of the school year is a little like Christmas--full of wonderful surprises. I can't wait to learn all about each of you! |
