| Introduction | I was raised in a Christian home where attending church was important. I knew all about Jesus and how He died on the cross and was raised from the dead; but one Sunday morning I realized I had never thanked Him for dying and taking the penalty for my sins. So that was the day God's saving grace brought me to Himself and I was born again. Later in college, the Lord provided a co-worker who discipled me and helped me grow in my relationship with Him. Just before graduating from college I met Keith and we were married shortly thereafter. We have had quite an adventure walking with the Lord and each other since 1978. We are blessed with three grown children, a son-in-law, a daughter-in-law, and two grandchildren. In Philippians 1:6 Paul writes "He who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it." I see more and more how the Lord is working in and through the circumstances in my life to help me grow in my faith and see the sin that He would like to remove from my life. We have such a wonderful Savior and Heavenly Father. My prayer is that Women in the Word will be a blessing to each and everyone who listens and studies God's Word with us. |
