| Introduction | Adriana Kostov, was appointed Regional Director, Australia, of the global Hedge Fund Association, in 2013, whilst also previously holding the positions of Director of Regulatory Affairs and Compliance for Excalibur Funds Management, and the Legal & Compliance Counsel and Company Secretary at Blackswan Equities. Ms Kostov states that there are no shortcuts to success, success is attributable, to simple, old-fashioned hard work, discipline and perseverance. The Hedge Fund Association is one of the largest alternative investment organizations in the world, with chapters across the Asia-Pacific, Europe, United Kingdom, United States and South America. The organization devotes its efforts to advancing transparency, development, and trust in alternative investments. Ms Kostov was tasked with launching the first Australian Chapter of this organization in 2013. |
